Question for you Roddy. We have all seen you play your beautiful guitars - but which one is your favourite?

I like your answer! My favourite is your white Penguin. Heres one of my shots from the RAH.

I was way drooling over that White Penguin...never had an easy time with Gretsches, I have insanely small hands and could never comfortably fit them around the neck, but I love them so much. Yes, there's a joke in there somewhere, but moving on...it's a hell of an axe.

How many geetars can one man have? - do they all make different sounds? or is it a style thing - that's a serious question.

I've always asumed they all sound the same but change on how the sound is amplified and hall acoustics.

As you can tell I'm not a musician

Too many...
No they actually do sound differant.. I can tell a Fender from a Gibson and Gretches sound differant again..
I can also tell a Semi Accoustic guitar sound too, which is pretty good* as im almost deaf in my left ear..
...what was that son?

That leads me into another question then, do you / have you wrote songs that were/are intended to be played on specific guitars.

Well the on Skabillies album "Blues Attack" i used a Fender Tele as it bites* "Rich Girl" on Mor Specials i played a Gibson 335 semi acoustic, and on the first Specials album i only had one guitar at the time so that was my original Black Les Paul custom.
It all depends on the song really*
I tend to use Vox A.C. 3O,s mainly apart from festivals where i use a 100 watt Marshal + angled Marsahal cab as they kick it out more.
