theres been talk of a new spareshells album, not surprising really, if this was ever to happen, and who can predict the future, then i would like to nominate 2 people as possible producers. 1. mr richard cuthell ( health permitting ) his work with rico and various other has always been intresting, check out his track haunted on the starvation 12 inc, excellent song. another guy is, ivor guest who helped produce grace jones recent album hurricane, who manages to mix old school with tecnology.. just a thought.. dont want to get ahead of ourselves do we....

Is the hype starting to wear a bit thin. People are obsessing over the description of the picture shoot for the first album. Isn't this the sort of thing that created a rift with the Clash as well as the Specials?

Make sure you get to say your piece Roddy and don't let the other buggers hog the limelight. 42 " Chest for me with a 34" waist and 29" inside leg if you can blag it mate.

I've heard this track called "Take 5", is that an originals Specials tune or a later day Specials? Sounds pretty good to me btw.

"Take 5" is from the Today's Specials LP which was all cover versions.. "Take 5" being a very famous jazz number by the Dave Brubeck Quartet. uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BwNrmYRiX_o

Always remember in a 1982 Smash Hits Questionnaire that Terry Hall put the Dave Brubeck version of "Take 5" as one of his all time favourite songs. The others were "96 Tears" by ? and the Mysterions and "Je Ne Regrette Rien" by Edith Piaf. Sad git me remembering that eh??? Now that I think of it he might have been taking the wee-wee on the Edith Piaf tune.
