It amazing the variation on guitar sound and you could have the best copy in the world of a famous guitar and it just wont have that authentic sound of the guitar its copied from as something that hidden element gets lost in the construction. Im over hauling my Strat as I want too but noiseless pick ups on it as Im trying to play clean Ska and reggae and I get abit of ring back from the pick ups which grates and even though people say they cant hear it that much, I can and it sets my teeth on edge.

You can get copies which are as good but i just like it to say Gibson,Gretch or Fender on the top* Had trouble at a few gigs with my Gibsons and Gretches when theres bad earth, thinking of carryin my Black "H" Telecaster on tour cause Fender types dont hum for some reason? Old P90 pick ups can be a pain - retro i guess but thats why they made Humbuckers..
