It doesn't make them look cool... it actually makes you walk away thinking why would any one want to do them.

My great grandfather was from Bebbington and eventually emigrated to the USA, where his first job was breaking horses in Texas before traveling across to California and finally up to Hatzic in BC, Canada. His story is quite interesting. His two best friends and hunting partners were a posh Englishman and a local Chief.

And he met his wife in California. She was from a posh English family, but they chose to move up to Canada, as they didn't like the way Americans worshipped money.

Not read the Nikki Sixx book but the Motley Crue book is one of the worst books I have ever read about rock'n'roll. I only read it because it got such good reviews about being one of the best books about a band. I personally think they are talentless. The book glamourises drug taking (Nikki Sixx especially), drinking hard, treating women disgracefully...such vile people. I'm amazed I made it through the book as it just made me mad. They even try to get all moralistic at one point, this from a band ,that one member of, actually caused the death of another musician whilst driving under the influence of drink and drugs...........

Reading "Open up and bleed" (Iggy Pop Biog) by Paul Trynka. Wow the Iggs lived a bit! Yeah, but he lives in a nice bungalow in Florida now with a Rolls Royce on the drive. No way could he have carried on living like he did and still be here now......
