Well, history again i suppose? I never left the Specials officially..shock horra! When fun boys told Our wonderful Leader they were leaving i never bothered to hand in my notice- As i had said many times that year that ild had enough, but i think nearly everyone quit on a dayly basis that year, So i never left..also Brad never quit and im not sure but i think Horace just stopped turning up? WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN I HEAR YOU SAY? Here come the Judge - Dread* p.s. Lynval Golding tells me he thought of the name The Specials! Yes im confused too*

I still think the six should re-invent themselves with a new name and play whatever they want rather than being one of England's hottest but static playlist bands. Just a Feeling...
...and for our next number

As I have said before it matters not what you call yourselves now, anywhere I have read about the Bestival appearence it is reported as the Specials......You shall all be linked with the name The Specials till the day you all die, wether Jerry likes it or not.

AKA The Specials you mean? Personally i want to concentrate on my band the Skabilly Rebels and do The Spareshells every now and then, when it suits everybodys own careers/jobs*

Obviously you want to play the songs as they were, which is what most fans (like myself) seem to want. If it eventually went on any longer do you think the band might be happy to go into other areas? I liked Jerrys version of 'Ghost Town' at Hate Racism Love Music concert and Terry's stuff with the Dub Pistols for example. As an outsider I can visualise so many ideas for new and old songs with everyones own creativity - but there's the issue of everyone losing their sanity again?!

I'm not saying that is going to happen but to keep it going, I think fresh ideas would have to be bought in. The BuzzHanpton Wicks after they reformed made one of their best LP's IMHO with "Trade Test Transmissions" proving they still hade some bite left in them.
