Since chatting with you good folk over the last few months, I've started rediscovering an old friend, rock 'n' roll. I've always had a soft spot for Jerry Lee Lewis and the Coasters, and, if Johnny Cash counts, he's in the top ten, but, now Showaddywaddy, Shakey and Darts aren't around to introduce me to old tunes , I need educating. So chaps and chapesses, - what tunes do you recommend? - What does rockabilly mean? IO know what Wikipedia says, but are, say, Johnny Cash or Elvis rockabilly artists? - Who did the best version of "Your Cheatin' Heart"? Genuine request, pleasee save me loads of time sorting through rubbish and help me get to the good stuff quickly.

I've been capturing some good stuff at the Roots Jams from the Railway Club in Vancouver over the last few years. There's a pretty good old R&R scene in the Pacific Northwest area of North America. www.youtube.com/hrdraperPlease, have a peek. ;D

Lots to wade through there, much obliged chaps. I think I've heard Johnny Burnette on a Mark Lamarr radio show, will reinvestigate. Enjoyed your videos Hugh, will listen again when in a more 'up' mood (quite chilled at the moment, and they're quite quick).
