Well it seems things have turned out like i said they would- you cant tell a mag they can only print our side of the story and tell them to put a new Specials pic on the front page.. So Jerrys version gets out.. the injured party insulted by the bad rock,n,roll be-quiffed Jett Radiation.. The trouble is "where are my mates when the Dankeys are after me"? Why am i gettin back involed with this ska,n,b nightmare i ask myself? Its not for the money, even tho my family could do with it..its not the fame as ive tasted that poison .. will it help my career? It never did before.. Oh Arnold Chicken Shorts!

Keep the pecker up Roddy Lad and don't be worrying about the tripe in the papers and mags.

I just read the thread I think you're talking about, jesus, you copped it on there boy! Like a bunch of us said last week, it's a bunch of half heads who know sod all about the Specials, sod em Roddy.
I reckon you'll be OK once it actually gets going, it's the waiting around that's doing you in.
Just an idea: why don't you just agree with everything Jerry says? It looks from here like he's displaying his sour grapes by saying you big nasty boys won't let him play, so you could pull the rug out from under that argument by saying "Yep, he's right, he was kicked out, because he's impossible to work with and a pain in the arris." Even if it's not true, it'd stop the b itching. It means you won't talk again, but then again, you haven't much for the last 27 years, and, after all this, you're unlikely to much from now on anyway....

the tour will be fantastic, the fact it was sold out in an hour speaks volumes, the venues are a good size so a good atmosphere is virtually garanteed,, it would have been as a fan, great if jerry was involved, but he isnt, and nick the keyboard player is apperantly very good and knows his stuff,, so thats the way it is. by the way you mentioned in another thread, rod, about the set list and you were surprised about the songs (a touch of sarcasm me thinks), why wots on it,,, 1st victim of war? ??

Hmm, she had a talent for appearing sweet and virginal, yet at the same time alluring and filthy.
