Well i must try,n be totally truthful it was some Specials on "Sweet Revenge". But the sax playing was great by the bloke who played on Gerry Raffertys "Baker Street" single ,also Ricos bass player Wayne a very cool Rasta guy.

Wasn't it Bob Holeness that played sax on Baker street? Thats how the old urban legend goes!

Didnt catch his name Stevo, we just went down the road from the studio to the Greyhound boozer where Geno Washington was playing and he had a guest sax player who was dripping in gold and coke with two likely ladies with him. Desperate Dan fine player.

"Lynvals has got a recording of "Sweet Revenge" (my last recording with the Shells) which he has yet to give me a copy.."
Is this one of the recordings that Horace mentions in his book that was done without Jerry or Horace, Horace reckons it was done to show that you didn't need Jerrys input, was this the case or was it just getting some demos together

Demos for future Specials albums? - but any chance to record for free and also not have to do the party line was a breath of fresh air.
