I played for a notorious side in york. It was great getting sent off every year LOL. Played centre back and loved terrorising strikers ;D I ended up managing for about 8 years. Won 2 promotions, 2 league cup finals and below is the link to our old website!!!! www.communigate.co.uk/york/thomasfc/index.phtml

I played right back and had my moments as well,i played in a few Glasgow leagues and remember a game being halted in Possill Park (Rough Area of Glesga) when one of the local hardnuts walked over the halfway line with his rottweiler.

"My fave US team are the Washington Redskins"
I was watching when they were just so goooooood, and my Raiders were Rather nasty smelly stuffe.
I have to say though once you get the tactics it is the nuts of a game to watch, the down side (for us in England) is it takes a lot of effort to understand the subtleties and most switch of too soon.
Once I got it, I was hooked, and would always watch as much as I could live, but alway fcuked me for work in the morning.

NEVER WAS ANY GOOD AT FOOTERS MAYBE THATS WHY IVE NEVER BEEN KEEN? The school i went to Keresley End high school was football mad because it was mainly miners familys and not many of us went on to further education. It was just learn the three R,s and a bit of team spirit, i just did art mostly + played guitar in the music room at lunch time. The gym teacher let my mate borrow his drum kit so i started a school band called "The Undead!!

A good teacher can make all the difference to a kid. I loved art at school but our art teacher was an evil Christian Brother. The swine used to hit us with a fcuking window pole with a brass top on it. I jacked it in pretty quick.

Our sports teacher was the one to avoid in our school, and it was justified, he was our year tutor for two years, so we saw some stuff that defiantly would not be allowed today.
but it was kinda what was expected if you stepped out of line in them days.
