I let my Brother listen to some stuff I recorded when I was auditioning for a punk band last summer as I value his opinion as hes a pretty good player and I respect his criticisms, he told me I always play the high 4 strings too much and I should try and use the bass strings more when palying rhythm. I told him it was difficult for me as Im too used to playing reggae/ ska and rock and roll which always seems to be on the higher strings and playing rock and punk was not something I try and play. Ive had to learn recently how to play those power chords again. I do prefer the sound of the higher register though.....

...everyone was talking about the new threat to the morals of American youth -- Cadence label-owner Archie Bleyer included. That's why Link and his boys were off the imprint, and this album of his prime-era, distorto-guitar-crunch cool remained unreleased for nearly 50 years! At long last, here it is, and it's every bit as dirty and dangerous as you would expect!

Got a couple Links on vynl but his tuning with that whammy bar is sometimes a bit out.. I removed mine, I hate the Desperate Dan things. I kept bashing my hand on it just when I took the guitar up again, I had more hand injuries from that than anything. (No rude jokes please).
