I've just listened to the Forthcoming Skabilly Rebels album and i can tell you all it's a blinder !!!! Any album which blasts off with 'Blues Attack' is going to win points anyway, but the album is great right through....some of the familiar tracks have been reworked slightly, but the New tracks impressed me. Anyone who like's a slice of pure Rockabilly will love ' THIS CAT NEEDS A KITTEN ' Written by Roddy in the mid 80's, it ooozes pure Rockin' class, i have'nt heard a modern Rockabilly tune that good in donkeys years. It just goes to show that if you love, respect and understand a musicical style, a good musician can do it justice, and Roddy with his Rebels have done just that !! I've heard so much CRUD Rockabilly/Psychobilly in the past few years that this track is a welcome listen. But The Skabillys seem to effortlessly blend so many styles within each song, its a pleasure trying to pinpoint them within the framework of each track... another interesting track is the ' RIGHT FROM WRONG' which sounds kind of Country Blues meets Skiffle and the Skabilly beat all in one...great stuff. A versatile Album which deserves to be bought and listened to over and over again....look forward to it.

Yeh...lol, for a minute i thought he'd returned from Vietnam... but incidentally, it was Errol's birthday yesterday and officially International Errol Flynn day...the slogan goes '' Good Relations with all Nations....Make love not war !! '' Well we all know Errol certainly did an Army's share of the latter.... Bung Ho Old Boy, as he'd say !! Daz Just bought the Signature collection set 2 on Dvd ... Don Juan, Gentleman Jim,Dawn Patrol,Charge of the Light Brigade and Dive Bomber ....they don't make 'em like that any more
