Redskins? About the furthest NFL team from you but cheers! Often wonder how much of a dent American football makes with UK sports fans.

When the Raiders were in LA I was addicted to it, chanel 4 stopped showing it and my interest wained.
I never quite get over the Raiders going back up north.
Expanding the franchise didn't impress me much either.
From a UK perspective it's quite hard to get to grips with the rules and plays but once you've cracked it it's well worth watching

Yes, when our fb teams lose $ or think they haven't made enough, not uncommon to pack it up & move it elsewhere. Wish more teams worked like the Steelers- family owned team, dedicated to the players & the city, fans loyal as anything. As for grasping the workings of the game, it's a pretty complicated way of letting guys beat the hell out of each other ;D

I would have liked to have played AM football but it was not around in my my day, but I think being 5' 7" and 83 kilos might have not been quite the right stature to play the game.

Don't know TTN, if you had speed & cutting skills you could've been a good running back! College players aren't always the huge physique. Emmitt Smith, one of the greatest college and pro running backs ever was only 5'9. I wish I could've played YOUR football on a team while growing up but it was barely around and not for girls
