My Dad did what he thought was best in his own selfish way .. but we never went hungry or lacked for toys but his life always came first... "never marry a musician" as my grand mother (Dads mum) said to my mother before they got hitched.

I was the only girl of 4, so I was daddys little girl. We never went without either, proberbly did a lot better than most kids around our area as my dad worked for the Australian Governmnet/Army. But once we all reached the age of working, that was it.. "Never marry a muscian"

The more I look after my nephew the less I seem inclined to want children of my own. I spend 13 hours twice a week looking after him and Im feeling more and more tired after every visit. The only saving grace is that I can give him back too his parents at the end of the day. I was thinking about this thread the other day when I had cleaned up his dinner off the floor for the 3rd time that its about time this kid had abit of old fashioned discipline.
