I had a weird moment at the Job centre yesterday when my job advisor phoned up a training company for me and she said "I have a young man here whos interested....." I though how nice being called "young man" even though Im 6 years older than her!!!.

I suffer terribly from pains in my knees as I had to have an ankle bone fusion 3 years ago as I had severe osteo arthritus. I now have one leg shorter than the other and find it hard to bend my knees as I walk as I dont have the joint flexibilty anymore and so walk in a weird kind of un natuallr straight legged way that still seems hard to get used too. I am thinking about having streoid injections in my knees, but the word "steroid" comes with too many negative connotations about the side effects. I saw an osteo path afew times up in Stockport, he charged £300 an hour as he was the top man in his field and dealt with all the major sports stars. I went 3 or 4 times before my cash ran out and he did wonders for my posture, if I hadnt had gone I would be now stooped at the back as I walked as he gives an all over skeletal correction. Did wonders for me, I just wish I could go back and have more done too my knees.
