Autumn skies, autumn colors, the first day of autumn..... The east coast is a great place to see all the colors change.

We are caught between US and UK English and idiom, and the influence of media. I think Fall is more commonly used, and it's funny when an English person first hears that and doesn't understand. Another one is yard for garden, my mum hates that.

I never liked the Oi punk stuff, I saw the Dam ned supported by too many bands with shirtless, skinhead lead singers shouting unintelligble lyrics at the crowd too make me want to give up seeing their support bands for good. You would usually find me in a bar around the corner from the venue having a drink and a game of Pool untill the Desperate Daned came on. Mind you saying that the biggest test of endurance came when I saw the Sex Pistols live in 2002 and they had a whole rake of bands on that I didnt find at all interesting. Instead myself and my friends sat in the park outside the venue drinking lager for 9 hours before the Pistols came on.
Ive been listening too lots of Kraftwerk in anticpation for the remastered albums coming out next week. The Beatles mono remasters and also a new band called the Big Pink. There was a band I saw live afew weeks ago that I thought were good as they were kind of experimental nutcases mixed with the Bonzo Dog doo dah band. I loved the fact that they started too read their lyrics from a Jackie Collins book at one point which made me laugh, trouble is the bit of paper I wrote their myspace addy and name on has been thrown away. Love to hear them again.

I think it has to be said that a lot of Oi was ok-Its not all about nationalism, violence and stuff but did suffer severely from the boneheads latching on to it.
