Some of them are still going out as the B-HEADS i hear* Veyr much so!!, they have a new album out called "staring down the barrel" and I think they are on tour at the moment. I saw them support Madness at Madstock earlier this year. I wore my Blockheads T shirt too college today, the tutor was a fan back in the day so he said.

I only ever saw the Blocks with Ian once and that was on his very last tour at Cov uni afew months before he died.I bought a bootleg of his very last live appearance at some place in London (The Forum???) and boy did he sound ill, its too sad too play and I have consigned the cassette too a far corner of one of my cupboards, I like to remember him in his glory days as a consumate yet shambling performer.

I saw Ian Dury & the boys loads of times, I wasn't a big fan, but my mrs loved 'em so we caught them when they played in town.
Silly woman thought that the Blockheads were better than Madness at Madstock.

I think John Lydon was an Ian fan before he joined that other band.
