Cant do copy ,n, paste but basically..Nostalgis fest - lots of fred perrys.. also says betta than our crap performance at Glastonbury?!? unlike Madness?!? now its a well oiled hit machine.. Plugs Nevelle, Brad and Terry..says it was like the Clash without Mick Jones cause of the lack of Dammers etc etc.. But i think someone said one of the writers was a pal of Jerrys or something.. Of course it's a nostalgia fest!!! But alot more besides, if they care to look properly... I think the quality of a review is shown in balance, not comparison to what the individual considers a worse performance, and what exactly is the point of comparing to a completely different band? What an inane comment. Maybe the people who should be doing the reviews are the ones who have actually been to a few shows but wouldn't split hairs nor kiss ass, you might get a more balanced opinion then.

I read the review in my local Smiths, its very guarded and has hints of Desperate Daning by faint praise and the reviewer dosent really say alot, although the quip about Glastonbury was an odd thing to say. I see one of the music mags has a free cover version of Syd Barret tracks on the cover, cant remember which one as I always try and read the mags for free without being thrown out.

I think pfiff would like to see you in Jersey. Spent my childhood in Jersey & the a-t-t-i-t-u-d-e surfaces from time to time (Hugh, I'm lookin' your way) but after 30 years here I consider myself a Floridian. Would love to see you play anywhere, Roddy, &seeing you solo may be the only way of seeing you so keep us posted. And Willo, we did cover the subject of shirtless Roddy before & I believe the verdict was 1) Girls say "YAY!" 2) Guys say "Fine and I'm not gay" ;D
