my best mate lived in tadcaster where "johns" is brewed,couldnt understand why i was always visiting???;-) although my local served a better pint of the same stuff,first pint never touched the sides...

Enjoyed a sober Christmas with the folks and sister's family. Back home and off to a friend's for libations.

Aye, John Smiths deffo a northern thing. Lovely stuff too. We used to drink in tadcaster on a saturday night- they got both the John Smiths and sam smiths breweries. Weird village though.
