Ive landed my own radio show........Im going to be on Rhubarbradio.com playing new and up and coming bands from the midlands area.......one small problem is I have to record it myself and get the content...does anyone know or can lend me a microphone that is designed for speech. Plus if you are a new and up and coming band fromt he midlands area do you want too send me some material and I will give it a spin, win win on both counts, I get my radio show and you get exposure. Im after any genre, all I need is at least 3 songs and abit of background on the band.

Im aiming for early Feb to get it broadcast. Im alittle low on music at the moment as no bands seem to be willing to send stuff in, I have 3 bands so far (my mates have been kind), and yes Roddy dont you worry Im going to play the Skabilly Rebs. Im just wondering if the job centre will give me a grant for a microphone?.

What about just bands who are doing mainly the pub circuit, do they count? You have tons to choose from there! Well done by the way, best of luck with it!

Bugger had my 1st demo rejected as it wasnt recorded at the right encoding, Im going to have to re do it again with a slight change of music aswell as I was abit liberal about the boundaries of the west Midlands are drawn. Ive got borrow that mic again off my mates band, they are recording now too, itll have to be a late niht affair.
