I hope that you will enjoy yourself while you are in California. It's going to be a long trip for me and Jen as well. We both live in Northern California instead of Southern where the show will be. Folks do not realize how far one end of the state is to another and a big cultural difference as well.
Though I live in California, I've only visited Southern Ca three times. The beaches are nice but as for ever wanting to live there, it's not my cup of tea.
Also what you see on the tele isn't what the rest of California is about. My friend from Devon, UK came here 3 times and he loves it.

What a fantastic time I had last night. Of course I couldn't go in the pit because security only aloud certain amount of people. The cut off amount was the girl in front of me, how devastating that was. So my photos of the stage was horrible. But the place was packed! To watch them on stage was so intense. Roddy at one point shook his bottom. It was funny and oh so..... Met the boys and everyone was so charming.

Nice one Linda, well worth the wait then ? Indeed Stewart, it was well worth the wait. The funny thing is Jen spotted Roddy in the crowd and hollered out, 'oh my Superior Force Of Nature there's Roddy,' I stood there like a frantic person saying, 'where?' 'where?' 'where?' My entire body going left and right, left and right. She took me by the shoulders and pushed me in the direction where Roddy was standing. I was a car being driven through the crowd. When I had seen him, Roddy hadn't seen me approaching him because he was talking to one of his friends. I went up to him, stood in front of him as he stared at me. I gave him a really long hug and I think I might have frightened him a bit. I was in awe of him. I saw Terry, I saw Horace, I saw Lynval and even Gwen Stefani was there but the only person that matter was Roddy.

Linda, I dont think little bitty you scared Roddy! Probably the nicest hug he'd gotten since he hit Cali~ It must've been so surreal for you to finally see Rod & the Specials play. I hoped you danced, partied, and had the time of your life. Props to your friend who steered you too!

pfiff...
I did have a time of my life and I so wish you get the opportunity as well. Oh I danced to my hearts content. So much so that the security guy wouldn't let anyone stand in front of me. ;D
