Drinking from here till next week doesn't seem like a good way to build up to the gig - but we have done that one before so I'll shut up now.

Got back from Glasgow at 5am Thursday morning after travelling though the night in a small van surrounded by a drunmkit abd three other bods cramped in the back. Got lost as the Sat nav broke. We were all pretty tired, hungover and hungary as the pub we played only supplied one ham sandwhich between us but let us drink as many cans of mckewans as we wanted, I played an ambient D.J set culminating in some Hawkwind too build the crowd up for my mates weird take on Rock and Roll, seemed to go well.
Mate dband went down very well, the pub owner has asked them back in a month or so, but they want more venues in Scotland to make it worth their while travelling all that way as all of us ended up out of pocket.
Anyway, got back, had 2 hours kip and then had to sit my final exam at college, I wasnt at my best but I have just phoned my tutor who says I PASSED!!!, im amazed....I could barley see the paper.
Anyway Im off down to London today too see Pama International and then I have to hang around Euston till 6am before I can get my train as I couldnt afford a hotel.
Hectic week all in all, but great fun, its amazing how strong friendships can get when your squeezed into a van, its a good job Ive known the drummer since primary school as I think we couldve ended up falling out over some stuff.

Congrats on passing your exam. Thankyou, I feel proud of myself, nice too see I still have it in me to actually see something through to the end after years of drifting between things and not really doing much. Yes Roddy, the Rock and roll life, I havent done anything like this for a couple of years due to poor mobilty, but Im loving it!!!! and this time there wasnt a class A in sight, just pure booze and adrenalin!!!

Seeing stuff through is so bourgeois. What were we talking about again?
