Hi. I remember that during the mid-late 80´s there came lots of records with british rockabilly/psychobilly bands. Some were really good too! Were you a fan of those bands, like The Polecats,The Meteors,The Guana Batz and the myriads of others similar bands that sold like hot cakes in my hometown during those days?

Well we played the Rock,a,billy/Pycho circuit for a few years with the Tearjerkers even tho we were a little differant to the other bands we went down pretty good mostly* I knew the Polecats and we supported the Meteors too many times! Funny thing was no matter where you played Northern England - London or Europe you would see exactly the same faces!

Polecats are playing a one off gig in the Mercantile in Dublins Dame Street this Thursday night (just across the road from the Olympia where the Specials played last November). Big article on them in todays Irish Independent. That Baz Boorers done ok for himself, Morrisseys right hand man (oooooerrrrr) and musical arranger. Has his own recording studio in Portugal. Who says Rockabilly doesnt pay?
