It's in Southsea and it's a stones throw away from the beach.

Steve the chap who owns the Cellars is a good bloke and knows his stuff so we have put together a viable proposal to put The Specials on at a 7000 capacity gig on Southsea Sea Front next summer. Ian at X -Ray dismissed it straight away but i then went direct to Mr Blackwell and he at least says he would put it to the band ? Don't think i'll be holding my breath though.

I asked the Spareshells agent about gigs for the Skabs... he said he didnt know how to sell it...? Im trying to get in with the promoters of the Hare and Hounds where I have D.Jed alot recently and have asked how much to hire rooms and things with an eye to maybe putting on some gigs myself, Im sure youd get a crowd down there. Im thinking of asking TV Smith back upto Brum as we talked about him doing a gig in Brum about 3 years ago, but at the time the pub we were using to put bands and D.Js on collapsed into a financial mire soon afterwards, so nothing came of it, but Im in a better postion now to investigate and instigate some things.

Hope everything goes good matey* Cheers Roddy, James Alexander Johnson arrived at 09.42 weighing in a whopping 9lbs 5oz this morning. After some problems during the labour (there is nothing worse than feeling completely useless when 7-8 nurses/drs/etc rush around you trying to stop the babe's heart from slowing down too much) both Mum and Jaime are doing fine. He even timed it so that I made it back to my local for a free pint from the landlord at midday, good lad! Even after 3 kids I'm still speechless at how I feel, brilliant, elated....but mostly tired!

Just wait too they become teenages and tell you to Arnold Chicken Shorts off! They do that at a much younger age with many parents nowadays.

Thanks all, currently settling into a 3.5/4 hr feeding regime at the moment, which isn't that bad I suppose.
