Nice see Tommos busy* The most Ive ever paid for a room was £150 and I never even stayed in the bugg er, I couldnt find my way back to it after ingesting half of the entire beer at Madstock. Yes its nice to see Thommo is still interested in doing something musically after several hints that he was going to pack it all in.

£150 for a room you didn't stay in, that's harsh. I might well be at Mr Rennie's gig, if I get a pass from 'er indoors.

Yeah it was after Madstock '09, I ended up sleeping under the canal bridge in Camden Town with no idea how I got from east London to north, I woke up with tourists stepping over me, funny looking back on it.

Yes, when touring with other bands sleeping rough has been a neccessity sometimes as money was scarce. I once slept rough in a haunted grave yard in Edinburgh and looked up and saw a priestlike figure with no face pointing at me. The amount of times Ive slept under barrows in market places is huge as they are usually the best places to kip.

Ive stayed in some places that claim to be hotels, where its been actually prefferable to sleep rough. There was that place in Swansea that comes to mind and a couple in Scotland, revolting places. Sleeping rough was safer and cleaner.

Stayed in one in Denmark which stank of sewage and there were sick stains all over the bed it was also as big as a large cupboard. Guest house up north with Threemen,n,black springs to mind.. Each room was decorated like a differant country i had the box room Japan style (but all done very badly) Dave Wakeling had the U.S.A. room i made the crack too him that he must feel very at home ... he swore quiet a bit!

Apparently bed bugs have become quite popular again now that the DDT has worn off.
