Re: that prog rock thing on telly, yeah, it was fun. It used to make me angry, self-indulgent Tommy The Tank from public schoolboys, but it doesn't look so horrible looking back, now I know that punk destroyed it.
Not usually a fan of US telly, but The Wire is, quite simply, the most sublime cop show ever.

Well some of Mor Specials didnt bother me but some brought back some suppressed stuff which i thought ild buried..eek!

"Here Come the Warm Jets" is a classic, but I cannot say I am much of a fan of his Ambient work, just not to my taste. As for Fripp, really liked King Crimson around the time of "Discipline" with Adrian Belew, not prog at all by then, they had more in common with Talking Heads.
