I like Kitchen Nightmares and this series called Choir where an Oxford music director tries to make a choir out of a bunch of kids from a school with no musical curriculum or singing culture.

The BBC programme 'The Choir' follows young pupils at a Northolt comprehensive from singing novices to the World Choir Games.

Patrick McGoohan invented & wrote The Prisoner. You wont see that anti-establishment stuff made for TV today. Tony Hart seemed a talented, gentle guy with a modest ego. Also, didn't jump around like a clown cartoon character.

unbelievably, The prisoner is being remade for television, due to start on ITV in the spring sometime. Sadly not set in Portmerrion. You can read about it here: blogs.amctv.com/the-prisoner/ A visit to Portmerrion is well worth it, If you can afford it a stay at the village is even better, you stay in one of the village rooms.

Brady Bunch, Flintstones, Thunderbirds... remakes just don't cut it. Shane Ritchie as Arfur Daley? Leave it out my son, your 'avin' a Steffi Graf, winkle.
