From Wikipedia: The Beachcombers followed the life of Nick Adonidas, a Greek-Canadian log salvager in British Columbia who earned a living travelling the coastline northwest of Vancouver tracking down logs that had broken away from logging barges. It was a thriller.

I caught a biog movie of the Monkees on Sky Movies recently, it was quite good (I think you have to like the TV show though). I can't quite remember the name of the film, but I think it was the one called Daydream Believers, because the actors look the same.
I'm going to download 'Head' now, see if it's as bad as I thought it was when I saw it in the 80s.

HEAD is brilliant, I havent seen it since I was 12 but I loved it, mind you I was always into that 60s pyschedilia stuff from a very early age having been introduced to it through my Dads hippy trippy records. I remember watching the Monkees TV show in the school holidays in the mid too late 80s, every episode always seemed to be about some Eygiptian princess after Davy Jones for something. It always seemed to end with "Daydream believer" if I remember correctly (which I probably havent as it was years ago), Talkinof TV, I see More 4 are showing the "Bless this house" film today, I love those old sitcom spinoff movies.

Always liked Sargent Bilko - had that Marx Brothers feel to it. I bought every episode of Bilko on DVD (all 142 of them)off a chap off Ebay about 5 years ago after I was laid up in hospital for 2 weeks. I used to love it when the BBC used to show it about midnight on weeknights. Every episode is an absolute gem and so well written, my only bug bear is on the last couple of shows they had Henshaw turn against Bilko which was totally out of character but I guess the writers were looking for a way to end the show somehow without getting Henshaw busted along with the Sarge. Didnt the Bilko fan club used to be in Coventry?. Heres a good website thats dedicated to Bilko. www.sergeantbilko.info/
