Most will probably know here as the lady who sang the Twin Peaks theme tune. Well last week I decided I wanted to hear more of her music, a friend of mine kindly gave me a couple of her albums. I got them this afternoon and I have just been listening to them, I think Ive found the most oddest yet glorious music in the world. How can I explain it?, its like a dream, imagine lush synths, trippy vocals like treacle, strange lyrics that seem normal on the surface, but have a weird underlying subtext. Great production that evokes the 1950s do wop sound, lots of tremolo guitar thrown in whenever needed but never over used. I could die to this music..........hears a taste youtu.be/QmJzy0WrSXYI can see why David Lynch picked her as they both have the same sort of qualities, except he brings those qualities mainly to film. Its great to hear some great new music.

yeah I loved Twin Peaks, the music is fantastic too, Ive got both soundtracks now, really beautiful stuff. I wonder how they will go down on my D.J set next, will a load of teeny indie kids appreciate something out of the ordinary?. Well they have so far, but could this be a step too far.
