hello campers,hi all.its me back again ha ha ha,im a happy chappy cos my mate got me a ticket for margate and hammersmith on the wednesday nite,my Superior Force Of Nature now they have added a friday show to.well im happy for the tickets my mate got me,was going to see if i can get a brighton ticket but all the standing ones have now all gone, only seating is now left. i quite like brighton,i always think of quadrophenia the film when im down there, another film that was released 30 years ago come september 1979 whoops i mean 2009 ha ha. roddy, you should take charge in your household and say what you want to watch on your t.v,that or make your daughter watch 3 hrs of jimmy dean in giant ha ha. take it easy roddy and all, have a good sunny evening and weekend. talk soon, dave

hiya roddy and all. well im looking after my folks place from today for a week and im scratching my head wondering what to do to please myself ,any idears ? perhaps roddy can come down a play in my back garden or any rich women on here fancy taking me out for a day in their posh range rovers ha ha. as for brighton,i hope to get a ticket tomorrow as my mate owes me some money i lent him last week.i like brighton but yes it is a bit exspensive these days, still nice for a day out though. ive still got the review when the 2-tone tour opened at the top rank and quadrophenia had opened the month before in sep/oct 1979.i wish i could go back to that day in time, what a gig that must of been.and dont forget that photo session on brighton beach with all 3 bands. dave

would the specials ever consider playing this venue again? they played here on the 21st july 1979.
what about the hope and anchor in islington? they played here in april/may 1979 and in late 1980,think it was for a blanket coverage gig or something.
or the rainbow, finsbury park.yes i know its some church thing now but would be great if they played there again.
or the music machine, lets not talk about that 1979 film ha ha this again was a great venue to see bands.
i was to young to see the specials in 1979 thats why i need a time machine ha ha. dave
