Nope, Linda, you're not alone on this one. Once you've reached the point where you're not enjoying it much anymore then why? Past the point of being more relaxed, sociable, uninhibited, it's the habit of doing something that's the comfort.

I don't pass out, and I'm usually up early bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Though the last show the drunk guy left a two inch bruise on my arm after he went slamming into me, though i was standing extremely far from the stage. Did I mention I am a target no matter what shows I go to? Jen can vouch for all the crazy stuff that happens to me at shows around drunk folks.

It's not 'to understand' what drunk people say but it's the in your face screaming at the top of their lungs what they gotta say. Then they are laughing out loud at themselves for saying something which is always an embarrassment but funny to them. Then of course the action is even worse. Females like to expose themselves whenever necessary. Men just want to follow you about.

Like most youngsters I used to go out and have good drink every now and then. but I never have enjoyed a hangover at all. when i was younger a hangover was worth suffering for the good times you had the night before.
Now I am older I still enjoy a drink but try to avoid getting a hagover if at all possible - it's not an exact science but it has stopped the real head thumpers of an excessive session.
giving up smoking help no end as well

Take today for example, I went out for a drink last night, I didnt knwo when too call a halt, I think I think I passed out out about 6am ish, I was up again at 10am and have been out to the pub already mand now Im having some cans, I dont see myself lasting the evening - but Im trying too as I want to see Pama International tonight.

Can't help with that one, but if you want to see PI why not hang on till after the gig to get wasted - or is that a bit too simplistic.
anyway, if I go by the recomended stuff you get from the medical bods, I'm not borderline I'm a fully fleged alcoholic.
In reality I am not - I just like a drink or two every so often

Oh it's not always the good lookin' females that exposes themselves. it's the ones that looks as if you had one too many something. makes you flinch when you see them. last night a skin/rudeboy decided he wanted to do a little ska dancing, not next to me but pretty much on top of me. I clung on to him to move myself to the side as he was about twice my size. My friends were busting up laughing. they thought i knew the guy. the entire dance floor and he wanted to be ontop of me!
