Ive got the worst hangover in the world today..........I drank 16 cans of Stella, 3 pints of Guiness and half a bottle of Paddys Irish whisky. Ive never felt so sick in all my life...........pass the paracetomols.

Hadn't had a hangover since I was 19. Drinking wasn't fun after I became a legal age.

My hangovers linger for so long now.......sometimes days. I remember being 16 and going out on a Saturday night too a club untill 3am, getting home at 5.30am, then cycle 4 miles to do a shift at work without any ill effects, Id have to have 3 weeks notice now of going into doing any kind of work. Ive tried to work this out as I wouldve thought my tolerance too drink wouldve improved over the years, but I suppose back then I drank weaker drink

My eating tends to go out of the window when Im drinking, you know that feeling when your drunk and hungry but when you put even the smallest bit of food in your gob it feels like a 4 course dinner in one mouthful. On my mad week long bender in August I think I ate half a weetabix. No wonder I couldnt stop shaking for days afterwards, I was mal nourished. My worst mistake was when I attended a punk 3 dayer at Butlins in Minehead 9 years ago when I didnt eat a thing for the whole time, I passed out and missed most of the bands on the Saturday as I was having spasms. Ive calmed down abit since, now I try and at least have a big meal before I go on the mad one.

A good diet and daily activity really helps. I've seen drunks well into their senior years in better shape than most as they walk and cycle to the boozers. But your eating habits are definately important.

So what is the point of being drunk again? Feeling sick? Grumpy mood? Missing a great show because you have passed out? Hmmm.... I suppose I am alone on this one.
