There is no border, just a cliff. Yes its a very thin line between being a lovable drunk to being a full on trousers down spouting nonsense drunk. Im kind of a withdrawl drunk who wants to bask in his own company when liquored up.

I'm with you two on that one - once I have had enough I go quiet - I've always put it down to running out of steam but it's not that really, it's just me.
By the way Mr C - how was Pama Int yesterday did you last out to the end?

Yes, those quiet ones destroy themselves without bothering anybody.

I'm with you two on that one - once I have had enough I go quiet - I've always put it down to running out of steam but it's not that really, it's just me. By the way Mr C - how was Pama Int yesterday did you last out to the end? yes I did go to the Pama gig, it was a tremendous night in a great little bar.I even got too chat too Lynval beforehand as he was hanging out at the back of the venue having a drink. I tried to wheedle out the Specials new set list but he was very tight lipped and Im still in the dark. I had a great time and after they sorted out some sound problems at the beginning of the set they went on too play some love filled Dub. Considering they musnt get much rehearsal they played a tight set of mainly new material which was alittle unknown to me as Id only heard a couple of tracks off their new album. I rectified the situation by buying acopy and have listened too it a few times now when Ive had the chance and its a corker. Its more laid back than some of their earlier efforts. Its good to have a joint too. I vowed Id go and see them again as its definatley nice to see a band and audience at one enjoying themselves and even though Id had a drink that day I even managed alittle dance to one or 2 tracks before having to have oxygen pumped into me - lol. A truly great night.

My drinking got abit out of hand over the last weekend. I fell asleep in my local on the Saturday afternoon having spent all nigth Friday at a friends house and not getting any sleep. I get a phonecall from another friend on the Saturday lunchtime as im on my way home to ask if I want a couple of drinks with him, I say yes without getting any food in. I eventually got home about 6pm with a takeaway (which I didnt eat much of) and then put some music on and drank abit more until my younger brother threatened me with "putting my head through the window" if I didnt turn the music down, I just laughed at him and told him Id like see him try. Thsi inflamed the situation further and doors were slammed and items thrown. I turned it down a smidge and finally went too bed at 5am Sunday morning. Having crashed and burned hours previous.
