Horace told me off for singing with an American accent in the MK2,s - guess ive listened to too much rock,n,roll over the years?

I think your voice is really easy to identify you by. If it just sounded like all american style singers you wouldn't have anything different. I can hear some American influence at times in your accent, which you'd expect from the music you do, but I always thought your accent was typical Cov. Shows what I know though...I don't think I've ever been to Cov

Alot of U.K. singers slip into mid Atlantic mode i guess its cause our singing heroes are American..

Its like alot of early punk vocalists tried to sing Hanpton Wickney/Landan. The same for Ska tribute bands - most can do a Landan Suggs but very few can do a Coventry Terry Hall.

it seems most British singers don't really have a strong accent when they're singing until they start talkin'..... then it's like... "what did he say?" It was like that when i saw the cure in the 80s, Dave Wakeling and Bad Manners last month. I can here the songs and sing along but as soon as they spoke it was hard to understand.
Roddy when I had met you, I had no idea how deep your voice is.
